Paneer Koftas with white gravy.

Ingredients for koftas. 200 gm grated paneer (cottage cheese) 2 medium sized boiled potato 1/2 cup all purpose flour (maida) 1/2 tsp of black pepper powder 1/2 tsp of salt or according to your taste. Some raisins for stuffing. Method of koftas : Take a bowl add grated paneer, grated potatoes, maida, black pepper powder and salt according to taste. Mix all and make smooth dough. Make small balls with your hands and stuffed 2-3 raisins into each balls. Take a pan and keep on gas and add oil. Once the oil becomes hot add koftas and let them cook for few minutes in same stage do not touch until they get light brown colour otherwise koftas will crack. Once you get light brown colour flip and fry till you get dark golden brown colour. Switch off the gas and take out all koftas on tissue paper. Koftas are ready. Ingredients for white gravy 1/2 Tsp of cumin seeds 2-3 Cardamom pods 1-2 Big black cardamom pods 1-2 Stick of cinnamon 1-2 Bay leaf (tez patta) 1/4. Cup cashew 2 - Medium sized onion 2-3 Green chilli 1/2 Tsp of ginger garlic paste 1 Tsp of coriander powder 1/4 Tsp of sugar 1/2 Tsp of garam masala 1/2 Tsp of crused kasoori methi 1 Cup of yogurt 1 Cup of cream/ homemade milk cream.


Method of white gravy :


Step - 1


Take a pan add one cup water let it boil add cutted piece of onion, cashew, green chilli let them boil into the boiling water for 5-10 minutes. After 10 minutes drain it out. Take grinder and make smooth paste with ginger garlic paste.


Step - 2


Take a pan add one table spoon of oil. Add cumin seeds, green cardamon pods, black cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks and bay leaves.


After few seconds add onion cashew paste.

And stir continuously. When you will see the paste is leaving oil from the sides andit became thick. Add cup of yogurt and mix then add cup of cream and mix properly. Add one cup water. Then add coriander powder, garam masala powder, sugar, salt and crushed kasoori methi. Mix it all and let the gravy cook for few minutes.


Now gravy is ready add paneer koftas, cook for few seconds and garnish with coriander leaves.


Its ready enjoy with tandoori roti, parantha whatever you like.
