Paneer Koftas with red gravy

Ingredients for koftas. 200 gm grated paneer (cottage cheese) 2 medium sized boiled potato 1/2 cup all purpose flour (maida) 1/2 tsp of black pepper powder 1/2 tsp of salt or according to your taste. Some raisins for stuffing. Take a bowl add grated paneer, grated potatoes, maida, black pepper powder and salt according to taste. Mix all and make smooth dough. Make small balls with your hands and stuffed 2-3 raisins into each balls. Take a pan and keep on gas and add oil. Once the oil becomes hot add koftas and let them cook for few minutes in same stage do not touch until they get light brown colour otherwise koftas will crack. Once you get light brown colour flip and fry till you get dark golden brown colour. Switch off the gas and take out all koftas on tissue paper. Koftas are ready.
Method of red gravy: Ingredients for tomato - onion gravy. 1/2 Tsp of cumin seeds 2-3 Cardamom pods 1-2 Big black cardamom pods 1-2 Stick of cinnamon 1-2 Bay leaf (tez patta) 1 Medium sized onion 2. Big tomato 2. Green chilli 1/2 Tsp of ginger garlic paste 1/4 Tsp of heeng ( Asafoetida) 1 Tsp of coriander powder 1/2 Tsp of red chilli powder 1/2. Tsp of turmeric powder 1/2 Tsp of garam masala 1/2 Tsp of crused kasoori methi. Step - 1 Take a pan add onion pieces and fry until get brown colour then add tomato pieces and ginger - garlic paste, green chilli and fry for few minutes. Switch off the gas and let it cool. After cools down grind the mixture and make smooth paste. Step - 2 Take a pan add one table spoon of oil. Add cumin seeds, pinch of heeng add cinnamon sticks, green cardamom pods, black cardamom pods, bay leaves. After few seconds add tomato - onion paste and stir for 5-10 minutes add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix and stir, when you will see paste is leaving oil from sides add garam masala and crushed kasoori methi. Add one cup water and let it boil. You can add water according to your choice of thickness of gravy. Add paneer koftas and cook for 5 minutes. Its ready now.
