Ingredients : * 2 cups of paneer (cottage cheese) * 3/4 cup of dried grated coconut * 3/4 cup of milk powder * 1/2 cup of milk * 1 cup of sugar * 1 tbsp of desi ghee * 1 tsp of cardamom powder * 1/2 tsp of rose water ( optional ) * 4/2 cup of finely chopped almonds and Pistachios * 1 tbsp of dried rose petals. Method : For this recipe you need 2 cups of paneer (cottage cheese). You can bought from store or make at home. But I suggest homemade paneer will be best. I always prefer homemade paneer. Here i m sharing only kalakand ladoos recipe. Keep ready your dried grated coconut and milk powder aside.
First you need a nonstick pan and begin to warm up in low flame. Add 1 tbsp of desi ghee then add crumbled paneer into it and add few drops of rose water. (3-4 drops).
Keep stirring constantly the paneer for 10-15 minutes with the help of spatula. When you will see paneer is deviding into particles
Add sugar and cardamom powder and mix.
Stir 2-3 minutes then add grated coconut and milk powder and half cup of milk. Now increase your flame low to medium. Do not stop stirring.
You have to stir continuously in medium flame atleast 10 minutes until the paste become little dry. When you see your paste becoming dry switch of your gas and transver the paste into the bowl do not leave on hot gas and hot pan. Keep stirring into the bowl for another 2 minutes and now let it
cool
When your paste is slighty warm add dried crushed rose petals and finely chopped almons and pistachios into it and mix with your hands.
Now take a small portion of paste into your hand and roll to balls.
Garnish with sliced pistachios.
Store it in air tight box into the fridge for a week.
When you want to eat take out from fridge and leave it for 5 minutes in room temperature it will become soft.
Note : Always store in fridge.
Thank You 😊
