Chocolate Cookies

Recipe:


Note: Preheating is must in both case.


Ingredients


1 cup whole wheat flour

1/2 Maida

1/2 cup of dark chocolate or any chocolate chips or grated pieces.

1 cup powdered sugar or according to your sweetness.

3/4 cup butter or desi ghee

1 tea spoon of baking powder

1/2 tea spoon of soda

Pinch of salt

Some room temperatured milk for kneading


Method.


1. Take a bowl and add melted butter and powdered sugar mix them properly and beat until get smooth texture. Then add grated choco chips or chocolate. Mix well.


Choco chips or chocolate pieces you can add during kneading too.


2. Take a large bowl seive whole wheat flour, maida,baking powder, salt and soda all together.

Add butter and sugar paste and knead with milk. Do not knead too much just make soft dough. Rest of 10 minutes in fridge.


3. If you have moulds the cut the cookies in your choice of shapes otherwise make small balls and flatten them gently.


4. For baking


Take baking tray for oven or plate if you will bake in kadai or cooker. Place parchment paper/butter paper on base in both case.


Place all the cookies on a baking trays


Pre heating is must. Preheat oven on 180 c or if you make in kadai or cooker preheat them too for 10- minutes in medium flame.


Bake for 25-30 minutes in 180 c until cookies becum hard. After times up if you feel cookies are very soft then you can bake 5-10 minutes more.


The cookies will crisp upon cooling

Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.



Now its ready to eat.
