Aam Panna

Aam panna or Aam Jhora is an Indian drink renowned for its heat-resistant properties. It is made from raw mangoes and is yellow to very light green in color, and is consumed as a tasty and healthy beverage to fight against the intense Indian summer heat



Something sour, something sweet, something spicy. A bit of roasted cumin, a little black salt, with a bit of red tinge of meringue. A little lemon juice, with a little sugar And with special mint leaves. This mango is the king of fruits, it brings every form of pause on sharpness and sweet smile on the face of every age.

Ingredients


2 cups water for boiling

2- raw mangoes

1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder

1/2 tsp sugar powder

1/4 red chilli powder

1 tsp black salt

1/4 white normal salt

1 tsp lemon juice.

1 bunch of mint leaves.

2 cups chilled water


Method


Step - 1


First take a deep pan or a prssure cooker. Add two cups of water, you can add more water for boiling. Add raw, mangoes and let them boil. In pressure cooker give 2-3 whistle only. And in pan boil for 10-15 minutes. Afyer boiling check the mangoes, they boiled or not. If they becomes soft like sponge it means they boiled completely. Let them cool.


Step - 2


Take another bowl. Take off all boiled pulp from mangoes. Add sugar, black salt, salt, roasted cumin powder and mint leaves. Blend it all with the help of hand blender or you can coarsely grind into the grinder. Take a deep pan/bowl put this mixture into the bowl and add chilled water mix it all proper. Add lemon juice. If you need more tangyness and sweetness or sharpness you can add more sugar,salt,lemon juice and chilli according your taste.


Add ice cubes some chopped mint leaves and sprinkle some roasted cumin seeds powder.
